Hello, I'm looking at the personal essay question in the application form and I have no idea how to start..
Could anyone who has ever had to write one/in the process of writing one help me with any hints/pointers or point me to any books specifically for personal essays to PT/allied health?

There is a great paperback that I used when I had to write my personal essay. Ironically, it was not from an PT book. It was called, Getting Into The PA School of Your Choice (Paperback)
by Andrew J. Rodica, Publisher: Appleton & Lange; 1 edition (June 27, 1998)
ISBN: 0838531326
Although it was designed for those applying to PA schools, the material helped me plenty for writing my essay.
