Hi! I am a student physical therapist researching the effectiveness of PT for women's health issues such as pelvic pain, pregnancy, and post abdominal surgery. Since this sub-field of PT is fairly new, I'm assuming that there are some current statistics and research that justify the need for our services in this realm. Can anyone direct me to those? Thanks, kather

kather, Try the womens health section website on the APTA website. There are also websites devoted specifically to incontinence if you search on a search engine. Finally, there are references on a medline search. Good Luck!
