Just a quick post...wondering what are a few exercises/HEP some have found to be most effective early on following SAD/DCE/acromioplasty procedures? always looking for a little more variety, something that may be more effective...thanks all.

we like to do early p/aarom work such as pulleys, shoulder flexion/scaption on a foam roll seated at a table, stick assisted flex/scap with a stick in a chair/step in a "polevault" motion where the stick helps support the weight of the arm...gradually progessing into isometrics, AROM, and PRE's...

Google this topic and you'll find some decent references for protocols and the protocols, themselves. Frankly, I am a bit suprised you are not doing active motion and any light resistive or isometric exercises. I know there are definite regional (as in geographical) differences in philosophies as far as aggressiveness in post-op cases.
