Suffering From Hip Pain - December 18, 2018 11:11:38 PM

Hi, I'm Veronica from North York.
Swimming is my favourite hobby. Now I can't swim because of hip pain. I'm suffering from hip pain for a month. Now it's getting worse day by day. I can't even sleep well.

A friend suggested physiotherapy. He had undergone hip replacement physiotherapy from a physiotherapy clinic in Mississauga and is fine now.

But my brother is saying I should try massage therapy first.
He also suggested a good chiropractor providing massage therapy.
So I'm a bit confused now. Has anyone here been in this situation?
Please share your suggestions and opinions.

Have you seen a MD about this, Primary care ? I would suggest PT over Chiro/massage, but I am also biased ( I am a PT). Swimming is a great way to exercise and we want you to be able to swim, but sleeping is also very important. Are you doing other activities that aggravate it?
I would recommend seeing a/your Dr. as your first step.
