I have an student that is an ideopathic toe walker with balance difficulties and cognitive disabilities. The biggest obstacle he has currently is with toileting in school. When sitting in a regular chair, feet/toes on floor, he is fine. The current toilet set up is an adult sized commode on the toilet with arm rests and his feet dangle. I have recently come from an outpatient ortho background and have made a switch to a rural school based without any professional support, so this a new situation for me. Any ideas on a specific toilet set up with a foot rest? I have looked at the Rifton HTS, but I don't know if it's overkill. Any help would be great!
