My son has flat feet and it’s causing problem in his toes when he walks and does athletic activity. He also experiences severe knee pain after practicing for a long time. Our podiatrist recommends custom knee braces treatment( ) from Mississauga. Does anyone have any experience with this? The doctor suggests to wear just shoes during the day. But he really dislikes wearing shoes in the house and goes barefoot indoors. I’m looking for advice from any experienced ones.

Yea first you have to fix his shoes during sports. I would recommend inserts or orthotics for his shoes. If he's still having pain then he'll have to fix his other shoes outside of the house. I would think that whatever he's doing outside of the house is what's exacerbating his pain the most.
