I have a guy referred by a physiatrist for an FCE to determine whether or not he is capable of taking a driver's exam.  Apparently, the gentleman had a spinal cord injury, and currently has L LE clonus and L hand clonus.

Is anyone aware of any criteria that the DMV or SOS has to qualify an applicant to pass the test?  I tried calling the SOS, but they're closed today.

Any insight would be appreciated.

When i worked at National Rehab Hospital in DC, we had an adaptive driving program. I might be able to put you incontact with people who would be familiar with the criteria you mentioned above. Just PM me nad I'll see what I can do.
