I would appreciate if some one could recommend billing comapny that does only rehabilitation/physical therapy claims or is a specialist in the therapy claims.
I am starting new clinic.
I had contacted BMS reimbursement, which does only PT billing but they do not take new start ups.

I am a believer in in-house billing but time has come when now I feel I should investigate outside billing. I have left 4 messages with BMS and have not received any call back. Maybe they do not need any more business. Does anyone recommend a good PT billing service especially in CA? Thanks.
It makes sense for small clinics to outsource billing from a financial standpoint. You can focus your efforts, and limited time, on growing your referral base when you're not treating instead of managing collections with every bit of free time. We use Clinicient and I think they're the best out there although they have their issues as well. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss.
You should look at Billing Dynamix. We search for a long time for a good PT billing company and they were the best we found. http://www.billingdynamix.com/
Would anyone be interested in a continuing education course designed to teach private practice owners how to effectively bring billing in-house?
I am a PT and currently own/operate several clinics. We outsourced our billing for approximately 5 years before transitioning it in-house over two years ago. Since then we have developed an effective system for managing A/R, tracking operational statistics, submitting and posting claims and payments electronically, managing patient accounts, and collecting patient balances. I have been working on developing a training module to teach other practices how to bring billing in-house or transition to electronic claims submission.

I've been using P T Billing Services for over eight months now. I've had awesome results. Very knowledgable, experienced and only does PT/OT billing. Website is ptbillingservices.net Hope this helps!
I am a former practicing PT/owner who has left that business to open a PT billing/collecting service. Let me know if you are still looking or think you could be doing better than currently doing.
