Medicare is taking comments until NOV 28, 2005 on new practice standards that would severely limit the ability of PTs and OTs to provide orthotics and prosthetics to Medicare subscribers. Sounds a lot like what happened/is happening with ATs providing rehabilitation services. Medicare is trying to dictate EVERYONE's practice standards.
