you are not going to get a dual degree program like that. They are 2 distinct professions with differing educational programs. You have to go through one and then the other. There are many schools that have both programs. I did my ATC first and went back to PT school 3 years later. Good luck.

There was only one school in the Country that had such a program, that I know off. It consisted of 3 years of undergrad work which was the athletic trainer program and then 2 years in the DPT program. There was some overlap between the classes. This was a good program, but the school shut down the AT portion, and within the next coupld of years the PT program is closing too. If you are already an ATC and wish to get a dual masters in athletic training and DPT look at Seton Hall.

i plan on majoring in ATC first and then going into PT also, I plan on this b/c I want ATC to fall back on if I don't get into PT school..my only question is do you use your ATC degree even after you have obtained a PT degree? I mean, is ATC a worthwhile major if you are going to be a PT?
