hello, Iam Amajad,a physical therapist from Karachi. There is a young patient(19 yrs) who complains of pain in his Achillies tendon,i.e at their insertions. There is NO history of any trauma, the calf m/s are normal and painfree, without any signs of inflamation. The ankle movements are normal and painfree, but the medial&lateral aspects of the ankles appear a bit swollen. His presenting complain is,that whenever he stands up after prolonged sitting,he feels immense pain at the Achillies tendon and at the Calcanium-some times he can't walk due to pain. Please send me your suggestions either here or my e-mail address is; sariz21@hotmail.com
