hello,
Iam Amajad,a physical therapist from Karachi.There is a young patient(19 yrs) who complains of pain in his Achillies tendon,i.e at their insertions.There is NO history of any trauma,the calf m/s are normal and painfree,without any signs of inflamation.The ankle movements are normal and painfree,but the medial&lateral aspects of the ankles appear a bit swollen.
His presenting complain is,that whenever he stands up after prolonged sitting,he feels immense pain at the Achillies tendon and at the Calcanium-some times he can't walk due to pain.
Please send me your suggestions either here or my e-mail address is;
