My topic is” Comparison of effects of cooling, static stretching &cooling combined with stretching as treatment technique in improvement of hamstring flexibility in spastic cerebral palsy”. I finished my data collection and statistical work. I took 3 parameters to evaluate the hamstring flexibility 1. Passive range of motion, 2.resting angle 3. Chair-sit and reach test. I ‘m collecting material for writing. I need correct old definition for “cerebral palsy” with year & for physiological effects of static stretching on spasticity.

Ratha,

I don't think that RehabEdge.com members will have anything to add. Sounds like you're on the right track! Congratulations!

You are correct in stating that you now need to operationalize terms. Keep us posted.

Drew

P.S. Where are you looking for operational definitions of "cerebral palsy" & for physiological effects of static stretching on spasticity?
