hi, hope someone has more experience with this than i do. has anyone here worked with these, or ordered these for pts?
i've noticed that over the years my hyperextension at DIP of L thumb has increased and is causing pain with manual treatments. a collegue in ortho lent me a neoprene splint that feels good to wear, but is too hard to work in.
so, i ordered the murphy ring one to isolate the joint. it seems to work ok, except it's not all that comfortable. now the joint doesn't ache quite so much but it feels stiff even when i take the splint off at night. anyone have long term experience with these things? i don't want to cause something even worse. Or an alternative product you've used and liked?
Thanks in advance for any advice :)
