Well, the father has decided to hold PT until the doc signs off on exercise. He is even going to call the doc and voice his concern/want for exercise.
I sent something to the doc via fax early last week and have yet to hear something and he's not returning my calls, either.

LOL, figures. I had a pt a while back that the MD (ignoring my objective findings and professional opinion) decided the pt couldn't be better because I had provided STM and not myofascial release! Called the MD on 3 separate occasions to discuss this with him. Finally he had his office manager call me to address my concerns. This person wasn't even a medical professional. I relayed some of my concerns an at the end she told "well, he just wans him to go to XYZ PT". Sometimes I wonder which profession is better educated.
