Mike, I took a lumbo-pelvic course from Martin Langaas, the director of that fellowship program, several years back. I thought the course was valuable, and the Provocation/Alleviation screening for the lower quarter interesting, but I can't recall much of it being tested in the literature. And, I can't recall seeing anything in recent journals that put this approach to the test for reliability or validity. So, do I still use some of the techniques presented in the course? Yes. Do I use the Kaltenborn-Evjenth approach as my primary method of assesment when looking at a patient with LBP? Nope. I currently use the Treatment-Based Classification scheme with a bit of biomechanical assesment for those who don't fit neatly into on the the TBC sub-groups. Also, I think the IOMT fellowship is two years. Seems a bit lengthy to me....
