I would appreciate if some one could recommend billing comapny that does only rehabilitation/physical therapy claims or is a specialist in the therapy claims.

I am starting new clinic.

I had contacted BMS reimbursement, which does only PT billing but they do not take new start ups.

I am a believer in in-house billing but time has come when now I feel I should investigate outside billing. I have left 4 messages with BMS and have not received any call back. Maybe they do not need any more business. Does anyone recommend a good PT billing service especially in CA? Thanks.

Clinicient and Rehab Management Services are options.  RMS also does OT and speech if for example your company was a rehab facility.

I have heard the same think about BMS they won't call you back and also they will not take new start up clinics.

It makes sense for small clinics to outsource billing from a financial standpoint. You can focus your efforts, and limited time, on growing your referral base when you're not treating instead of managing collections with every bit of free time. We use Clinicient and I think they're the best out there although they have their issues as well. Feel free to contact me if you want to discuss.
