My hospital will be participating in a Healthcare Careers Camp (half day camp) one
week in June. This will be for 6th and 7th graders. The 2 objectives are to introduce kids to different healthcare careers and teach them about healthy living. The goal is to involve all departments. Some facilities let the kids chose the best department ...the winning dept. gets a prize.
I need any ideas you have (be creative) about some activity that the kids could participate in while in the PT department. ( Keep safety and confidentiality in mind). One PT dept. at a different facility had the students make a sundae using only one hand (disability).
