Very interesting to hear about your school in Ontario! Our program is 2 1/2 years. In the 1st semester we had 69 students (a lot i know), but this quickly narrowed down, and we now have 21 in our class that is too be graduating soon. Our course schedule includes: General Ed classes Intro to PT Psychology Anatomy Physiology Ethics Kinesiology- which includes everything you can imagine (physics, etc) PT muscle anatomy Modalities I Modalities II Ther Ex PTA Licensure Review Ther Ex II Rehabilitation 3 Clinical placements 80 hours of observation at a nursing home, inpatient, outpatient and a support group. We then need to take our state boards and graduate. Our Instructor is a machine and never quits teaching. She is a DPT, and is basically teaching this program as if we were in a 2 year cram program for PT school. Our school also has 100% pass on the boards. Thanks again for responding!
