I attend USA and will be starting the program next August. It's a great school with a great DPT program. In May, the first Doctorate class graduated after they made the switch from the Master's program 2.5 years before. All the kinks seemed to be worked out by now. Anyway, it's a great school for anything in the healthcare field - they have a great medical school, a great nursing program, and every other allied health program you can imagine. The PT program has been fully accredited for the past 30 years that it's existed and many of the professors are physicians, all are physical therapists. The pass rate for the first sitting for the boards is something like 99%, which is extremely good. It's a very rigorous program and very competitive, as well. What I liked about was the advanced undergraduate entry option - the class starts every August with 36 students, but you don't have to have a bachelors degree to apply. If you meet all of the requirements, apply, and get accepted, you will start the program your senior year and after the first 2 semesters, be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Preprofessional Health Science. After completing the next 2 years, you will be awarded your DPT. The admissions criteria are 1/3 math/science GPA, 1/3 GRE score, and 1/3 interview. Not everyone who gets an interview will be selected. Around 400 people have been applying the last few years with only 36 being selected, as I said.
