What is the appropriate CPT code for kinesiotaping?

Thanks.

Normally kinesiotape is used in conjuction with Neuromuscular Re-education.  IE. Tape prior to patellar tracking exercises and bill a 97112.  I do not believe you can bill for taping a shoulder blade then having him walk out of your office.

I have been told by some chiros/therapists that there are "strapping codes" that can be used and they charge (get ready for this, are you sitting down) $100 for application of the tape and get reimbursed.

Anyway I am in agreement with Vagus

Thanks for the replies.  Is there a good online reference for all CPT codes?  The APTA is not detailed enough and I am too cheap to buy a book.

Thanks.
