Well, from a surgeon's perspective, a surgeon would probably want to know prior to cutting on a patient the surgical technique to perform. If I remember correctly, if the fragment came from the femur, the size of the chunk and depth of area missing from the femur does have relevancy in the surgical procedure to perform. (And I'm just guessing the chunk came from the condyle.) If that's the case, then further diagnostic testing may be warranted to establish the surgical procedure that surgeon may prefer to potentially give the best outcomes.

Naaaah. You guys are just being admirably overcautious.
A scope procedure will be all that's required.

Well, as long as we can all agree that the Orthopedic referral should be forthcoming, then I guess that's the take-home message.
Greg, what's up with the new byline in your signature? Try "I think, therefore I am Libertarian." I believe that would fit better... :)

Jason, I'm almost 100% Libertarian but we part ways when it comes to abortion. I'm totally anti-abortion.
That's for another thread though...

Hi. Yeah, I am pretty much locked out of this forum ever since I changed to my real name. I am working the issue. It should be back up soon. Thanks for the interest!!
