pablo w -> Re: Foot pain (January 19, 2005 11:17:00 PM)

I can see a minimally displaced fracture of the neck of the 3rd metatarsal, visible in both views. The rest of the foot looks normal.

Jeep -> Re: Foot pain (January 20, 2005 12:41:00 AM)

I agree

Synergy -> Re: Foot pain (January 20, 2005 1:54:00 PM)

I see that as well, but is there anything going on with the 3rd neck of the proximal phalynx? Could just be me and yes...Pablo is en fuego!

Sebastian Asselbergs -> Re: Foot pain (January 21, 2005 1:36:00 AM)

Any lateral/oblique views? This fracture may be more displaced in a saggital plane..

FLOrthoPT -> Re: Foot pain (January 21, 2005 12:12:00 PM)

educate this person about proper sized footwear...crowding in the toe box is causing some nice bunions and bunionettes...but yes pablo's on fire...

There is a minimally displaced fracture of the third metatarsal.

An extra gold star goes to Sebastian for recognizing the need for a lateral view to better evaluate if the fracture was displaced.

Pablo is on fire.
