Rob, how about the moonwalk? Area 51? The pharmaceutical/medical conspiracy to make patients dendent on meds and MDs? And the well-hidden fact that Osama Bin Laden is really Dustin Hoffman doing his best actor job since Tootsie?

I am astonished you don't mention these...And these are well-known facts! I am sure I read about them in a blog somewhere....

Really showing your maturity.

I responded to the list made by J, is that illegal to do? I'm guessing this is going to get personal now instead of responding like a normal discussion?

I'm trying to do that, so if your personal opinions make you post nothing but an emotional name calling response, then maybe folks need to quit asking questions.

Geez ,passionate about this thread or what? How about directing some of it back to advocating for evidence based/best practice PT/rehab everyone?

9/11...a horrible event with all kinds of opinions.

Yup, I believe in our country and keeping it great. Without standing behind the restoration of the values and constitutional basis the country was founded upon, there won't be any PT to talk about.

I'm patriotic and hate seeing my country go down the tubes based on lies and a media that shows you only what they want you to see.

Ask others that live in other countries how they view the US, and it's based on the actions of our government. I have older (college aged and above) exchange students living with us for several months at a time and they all are suprised how friendly Americans are. And how different it is vs. how it's seen around the globe.

God and country and morals and personal freedoms and rights have gone out the door because of "terrrrism". When safety and security rule the world, personal freedoms will always, and I mean -always-, take a back seat to fear and the desire for safety & security.

Proud,

I agree that the USA tends to be represented overseas by the government in power; partly because of the selected exposure we get. But that applies to other countries as well - Australia is not fairly represented overseas, either. The media always decides on what it thinks will sell, whether there is any truth in it or not.
Geez ,passionate about this thread or what?
Yes Proud, it is called true Patriotism...and part of that passion is to preserve what our Founding Fathers handed down to us. What we once had is now being threatened while too many U.S. civilians are ignorant or choose to disengage from the reality of what could soon be lost.

To ice the cake, we have the leader,(dictator is a better word)) of this nation stating that "the Constitution is just a god**** piece of paper."

Wake up America!!!!!

When your leader who says they will uphold the "god*** piece of paper" then tries to re-write anything he wishes to do so on what he vowed to uphold, you MUST step back. I voted for Bush in 2000 and have been a republican since I have been legal age to vote. This administration represents the republican party no more than personal trainers represent physical therapists...

Just take a breath, step back, look at the entire situation from an outside perspective and weigh the options of what is right and wrong in our leadershiip lately.
