Funny, some of you always seemed so much more grown up than me when you are actually the same age as me - 34. Haha

I am curious as to why everyone thought ginger was female. Is it only because of Gilligan's Island? (I didn't know there was anyone called ginger but the series only existed here 30 years ago and I've probably forgotten).

When I hear ginger, if I'm cooking, I think of the spice... if someone has a name of Ginger, I think of the female on Gilligan's Island too.

this is a post that truly demonstrates the provokative thinking processes of therapists around the world...is it time to press the close button?

*Ginger Rogers was Roy Rogers,(famous cowboy) wife.
*Ginger Grant was the sleek and sassy babe from Gilligans Island.
*Ginger Baker was a funky red-headed guy who played drums for the band Cream. (60's)
**And who can forget the Gingerbread man who I assume is a guy.
But,I have had several female patients named Ginger but never a male named Ginger, "not that there is anything wrong with it!"
So, I guess Ginger is one of those names that go both ways, like Cameron, Lynn, Alex, Sam, and a few others. I guess I have attached the name Ginger to females, thanks to Gilligans Island.
JBird (a guy)
SJ, are you a female bird?
