Glasgow must be 'Doc' from chiroweb. Doc monitors this board and posts topics at chiroweb, like the the Paris DC DPT thread. However, Doc has made no mention of some of Glasgow's comments.

Doc/Glasgow, give it up already...

It was pretty clear to me from his second or third post who he was. "Yes yes yes."

SJ-

There is a huge difference between the fascism of some "chiro" boards(posts not adhering to strict chiro-bashing party-lines that are promptly deleted, edited, and posters banned), to chiroweb, which is akin to the wild-wild west.

The moderation here seems to be reasonable. IE- all sides are offered a platform unless offensive.

BTW SJ- I've watched your inquiry(oft met with offensive replies) here. I admire your attitude, position, and refusal to be bullied. KUDOS to you.

Jeep,
There is a huge difference between the fascism of some "chiro" boards(posts not adhering to strict chiro-bashing party-lines that are promptly deleted, edited, and posters banned), to chiroweb, which is akin to the wild-wild west.
Funny, as I recall, the reason chirotalk (if that is the chiroskeptic board to which you are referring incorrectly and inflammingly, as "fascist") was created was because of certain banning and deleting that went on right here, just over two years ago. The posts made by certain chiroskeptic individuals were not offensive in tone, whatsoever, but were deemed offensive enough in content to unleash a chorus of howls and protest from the prochiro legions to the point where RE was in danger of losing its "edge."

To keep a board alive and on point it is necessary to firmly weed out the trolls. A new kind of board that begins as an infant, and is in danger of being killed by the males of the species, certainly needs protecting. Chirotalk's second birthday is today as a matter of fact. It is flourishing quite well, thanks for wondering.

"The Doc is the bogey man."

So Doc is a golfer?

Ive got an eagle eye, but I dont believe your spelling is up to par. I hope this doesnt tee you off, but you should take a mulligan on this one.
(Id insert one of those little smiley faces here, but if Doc is posting on this site, his posts from the other website have soured me on smiling towards anything he has to say.)

I am not referring to your chiro board "incorrectly" or "inflammingly".

Jeep,
I am not referring to your chiro board "incorrectly" or "inflammingly".
S'cuse me in that case. I guess you must have been referring to it neutrally and objectively by referring to it and to "fascism" in the same sentence. :)
Yup.
I think that would put RE, which found itself having to do some pretty serious pruning two years ago, as I've already mentioned, into the same situation of being termed similarly. My point is, good admin/moderating is not fascism. That's your word, so own it.

Glas,

The American Heritage® Book of English Usage.
A Practical and Authoritative Guide to Contemporary English. 1996.

Page 216

bogeyman
We are all frightened by this mysterious character, but we cannot seem to agree on what to call him. His aliases include bogeyman, bogyman, boogeyman, boogyman, boogieman, and also boogerman, boogarman, and buggerman. The original word was probably bogey or bogy with the other forms springing up as pronunciation spellings. Pronunciation options include (b’g), (b’g), (bg’), or (bg’r), (b’gr), or even (bg’r). According to the Dictionary of American Regional English, the form boogerman prevails in the South, and boogeyman everywhere else in the United States.

We are both right. Or wrong. I stand corrected. Or not. You choose.
