For proper punctuation, spaces must follow periods. Not to quibble, but I imagine someone from the UK would want to be proud of his or her use of the English language, including the punctuation portion. We PTs are helpful folks, regardless of the nature of the help. Perhaps the "P" stands for Punctuation?

Glasgow,

You are right, the one DC poster does seem much, much more intelligent than the other posters on chiroweb. Perhaps it is his British ancestery, his "Medical" training prior to becoming a DC or his ability to speak with great sarcasm and infuriate those that do not realize he is simply stirring the pot. I think the Americans have someone very similar..... "Jerry Springer"

I am sure you are right Steve. The guy is certainly a card.It seems that the site is not allowing any more people to register, so any chance of reply to this cascade of misery is impossible. How convenient.

Glasgow,
I don't think physical therapists are really abandoning Drew Ball over on the chiroweb. The website is not worthwhile and Drew unfortunately has wasted a lot of time over there. The non-support comes from the fact that we have all come to the conclusion that the website is crap and therefore is not worth the time or effort.

I do not think that defending physiotherapy is a waste of time and frankly he has been abandoned to do that by himself.Shameful.

Chirowhack is right.

I've personally asked them to remove the unmoderated message boards, and they did clean up many of the posts at one time, but now it has gone to crap again.

Actually, since chiroweb is such garbage, maybe the moderators here can remove this thread. It's a rather non-productive discussion.

Why not.Lets remove this thread and consider removing the next also. Why not remove them all except the ones you deem as useful. That way we won't need to ever again worry about freedom of speech or the ability to express an opinion.
Buddy, the idea of defending PT against unwarranted attacks can never be seen as non-productive,unless you are not a PT.I notice you are a DC.

Two quotes that may or may not be relevant:

1. Never argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

2. Don't feed the trolls!

You may think that these people are idiots but they and others are running rings round the lone voice of PT,Dr Boll. That is plainly not a very satisfactory situation.

I must conclude from the rather frail responses that nobody actually cares and therefore will finish at that.

Glas... no one cares. LOL I looked at that site years ago and never went back to it. My impression was that there wasn't anything there that would be worth learning. Why waste time?

Glas,
If Drew were fighting the American Chiropractic Association then I am sure PTs would be rallying behind him. Instead, he is fighting with three knucklehead Chiros that keep pulling his chain and know how to get him fired up.

GLASGOW,

I've just looked in a few times on chiroweb. Those people are idiots. They've got their own little freak show going there; no beneffit to trying to make any sense of it, or trying to fight it.

It is, a poor representation of the profession, and a serious "Misrepresentation" of the profession. But as evidenced, it is mostly 3-4 posters. But it is still sad that, when there is no moderation, a few posters can hijack an entire board.

Jeep, just as this site probably isn't a representation of the PT profession either. It seems to me that the ones that post here are the ones that don't have a fear of sharing their thoughts and taking that "risk" and posting. I'd say that the current moderators here really don't delete or control the board. Actually, they don't really need to because it doesn't get crappy here as it does on chiroweb.

Glasgow it's bad enough when a troll appears and tries to wreck a perfectly good board. It's ludicrous to put any effort into posting on a board that's already gone to the trolls. (One wonders, once again, why you care/are here. If you find the level of discourse too stuffy or tedious, monitered and controlled, head back home to where you feel less hampered.)

Madam,I thought I said good day to you.If you must persist I would stress the following.Thank you for your comments however they bear no relationship to the topic at hand.I would request that if you wish to comment and you are perfectly welcome to do so,that you refrain from going off topic and desist from this unseemly aggression which you seem to favour. As you may be aware it is not productive and completely inconsistent with gentlemanly behaviour.Your co-operation in this matter would be most appreciated.

Again I will say thank you for your comments, good day and farewell to you madam.
