Just catching up on reading all the posts since returning from vacation. Enjoyed the pics of our soldiers, just visited my brother who was practicing flight maneuvers at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, AL before he goes back to Kyrgyzstan.
Chiroortho--I may have a theory on the surfers. Most of our vacation was at New Smyrna beach and my 15 year old son was introduced to the boogyboard for the first time. We couldn't get him out of the water! The only thing that got him out was the late afternoon storms. I myself mastered the "art" of catching the perfect wave and have to admit, it is very addicting. It is similar to what we experience here in Minnesota with snowboarding in the winter. Can't get the young adult males to stay off the slopes for anything! They don't seem to have any patience to let themselves heal as they seem to "live for the moment" and ignore my speeches about what a 40 year old body feels like after repeated injuries
