When I perform a joint manipulation by HVLA, the movement is meant to be "compact" because if the joint is essentially "locked into position" very little movement is necessary. The primary exception is with a first rib manipulation. Drew, you have never heard an audible "click" from muscle energy?? Not even from the pubis? I started performing them when I was a PT and I have always heard the subtle "click" with resisted adduction(maybe you just haven't done enough yet).

"He couldn’t believe the amount of force used on the patients."
And how much force were they using in the video exactly? Are you referring to the one with the patient on their side?
It's actually a little decieving because they use a "drop" piece. If you've ever done it or have had it done(I'm assuming not), you know you really can't feel much of anything.
