Dr. Romano and Dr. Green were the best...

To be honest I look a tad like Green except no glasses and shorter...I wear the same scubs.

How about Dr. Doom

Dr. Octopus
Dr. STRANGE
Dr. Jekyl
Dr. Bruce Banner

Don't forget all the conservative christian people calling themselves "Dr" in books and TV shows.
Dr James Dobson comes to mind, among others...

Darn it Dr.Wagner, that was going to be my question to you! Hair, or lack therof, can certainly change one's looks. I didn't realize until a few yrs ago that Dr. Green and "Goose" in Top Gun were the same person.
Getting back to the "Dr." thing. I find it interesting that several of my patients say "well you're the doctor" even when I have introduced myself to them by my first name. It seems to have happened more frequently since I started my private practice--I don't even own scrubs or a lab coat :p

Greys anatomy is so gut wrenchingly aweful I refuse to watch it. Not even close to what a surgical resident does... ER is the closest to reality as it is extremely close to what an ER resident does...just hyped up.

WHAT??? It isn't really that way for ER residents? No sleep deprivation... no disrobing in the locker room.... no lock on the locker room door??? No sex? (Wait, that hasn't really happened, yet.) No huge parties? No relationships between the physician and the resident? No jerk of a physician yanking residents around? No resident eagerness helping with heart transplants or brain surgery? No towels left in lungs?? And no shy resident just wanting in the pants of his female resident roommate?

I guess I'll keep my application papers here... I was so ready to sign up and change professions!

Ohhhh let me tell you there are EXTREME jerk residents, attendings, and nurses...that part is true. It a COMPLETELY differnt world.
Just that the surgical residents on the TV show have too much free time and they spend too much time dorking around with each other. Plus surgical resident just want to do surgery, they have no interest in any real medical cases (ie seizures etc).
EM residents tend to be more wild than surgical residents and FAR FAR less bitter. More time, better schedules.

How about Dr. FeelGood... Crue Duuude

Rat tailed Jimmy is a second hand hood
He deals out in Hollywood
Got a '65 Chevy primered flames
Traded for some powdered goods
Jigsaw Jimmy he's runnin' a gang
But I hear he's doin' O.K.
Got a cozy little job sells the Mexican mob
Packages of candycaine

(Chorus)
He's the one they call Dr. Feelgood
He's the one that makes ya feel alright
He's the one they call Dr. Feelgood

Never actually seen the words to Feelgood. I just improvised until the chorus. To continue with the 80s rock theme...From Gene.

"They call me...They call me Dr. Love."
