If you get an interview for your school's DPT program, what do they want to hear?

That you have a good knowledge of what physical therapy is, what settings we work in, reasons why the field interests you (other than the generic "helping people" answer), current issues in physical therapy, as well as they want to get a feel for what kind of person you are i.e. organized, compassionate, driven....

I would research the school and the type of program they have ie. a lecture based school vs adult indepentdant learning with samll group tutorials.

This info is good to know....the school may ask you "why do you want to attend their program vs another school?".

..and that you have visited PT clinics, followed a PT around for a little bit, can speak sensibly about the profession (within reason) as ianwvu said.

All the best

I have a question relating to questions you might encounter during the group interview. I have 2 rounds of interviews to go through. The group interview and then the individual interview. I am not nervous but I just want to be prepared for what I might be up against.
