sarah1234 -> Slippery Rock VS Southwest Baptist University (April 28, 2007 2:21:00 AM)

I got accepted to the DPT program in Slippery Rock University and Southwest Baptist University.

I have to make a final decision on which uni to attend in Fall.

Questions:
1. Which uni is better?

2. Any students studied in Southwest Baptist University before?

3. Any students studied in Slippery Rock University before?

4. Is the unemployment rate of PT graduation high?

5. Is it hard to pass the licensure exam?

6. I am an overseas student and I want to work as a PT in the U.S after graduation, will it be hard for me to get a job in the U.S? (i.e foreigner but trained as a PT in the U.S)

Thanks

I did not graduate from either school or know anything about Southwest Baptist. But I was a Clinical Instructor for a student from Slippery Rock. She did a clinical affiliation with us and she had a very strong educational background in orthopedics. Also, good manual skills for a student and an excellent critical thinker. I would recommend Slippery Rock for those reasons.

Good Luck
