My friend got into the following schools: USC, Northwestern, Boston University, and Massachussetts General Hospital (MGH) for their DPT programs. BU and MGH offered scholarships.
Can anyone give their opinion of which school is the best to attend? Which school has the best reputation and which school prepares their students the best for the final license exam?

all good schools, go wherever the cost of tuition plus the cost of living is the cheapest.

Do you think that rankings matter at all when trying to find a job in the industry? That is, do people actually factor in how high the candidate's school is ranked?
I believe that the rankings in USNews for the accepting schools are: #1 USC #5 MGH #10 NW #14 BU

Rankings do not matter. Go with the cheapest program.

rankings are a bunch of crap (if a school doesn't fill out the required info from the publisher putting out the rankings, that school is put at or near the bottom or not even on the list.
as above go with the CHEAPEST and the one willing to give YOU $$.

Go with the cheapest. The terminal degree is the same and the university attended does not really matter in the end since it is a employee market for employer (they cant be choosy).
I went to a state school and with part time work was able to graduate debt free (granted that was early 90s) before tuition rates skyrocketed - a high school friend decided to go to a "prestigous" (sp?) private school and still is paying off debt.

agreed. go w/ the cheapest one. all of those are good programs. when you apply for jobs, no one cares the ranking.
