While I agree that our profession should value our DPT's, t-DPT's in particular, and as a group give them more respect than we've done to date . . . there is a WIDE GAP between the education, time, and rigor of a DPT versus a PhD program. Statements like that weaken your case.
There is little difference, however, in standards and rigor between a DPT and other non-medical clinical doctoring degrees such as PsyD, PharmD, DC, OD, etc.
