As for ChiroTalk, of course there's a lot of shooting from the hip there just like anywhere else, but you'd be surprised how much is said there that is absolutely true about the chiropractic profession.

As far as I'm concerned, airing the dirty laundry is a good thing and can result in two possibilities: one, the leadership reads the stuff and says 'enough is enough', let's clean thing up NOW!, or alternatively the profession can continue the status quo and continue to struggle (a euphemism).

There are those of us that can appreciate the trash being brought out in the open. The internet can be a very useful tool. Tell you this, I'd be hard-pressed to go to chiro school if I was starting over again, if nothing changes. I'm not encouraging my kids or anyone else to go as things are now. Go to DO school.

Certainly there are some heated discussions here about the PT profession, and I would agree with Greg that such airing of all sides is important to the growth of a profession.

Any criticism of Chirotalk should surely be balanced with full knowledge of the back and forth arguments that happen here?

I like that boards such as this allow a "forum" for such discussion...
