hi,
i'm applying for a trasitional dpt [online],
in boston university,
anyone out there whose's currently enrolled in a trasitional program,
would appreciate any info on this,

I'm currently serving as clinical professor/instructor for a student from Boston University. Between Linda Fedders, Diane Dalton, Steve Haley, and Ken Holt, they've got a pretty good program up there. Personally, I'm partial to MGH institute of health professions as some of the coursework is taught by Harvard Medical School faculty (radiology in particular) --- and, of course, I'm about finished with my DPT save one course . . .

undergrad degree, master pt, phd pt, mba, dpt...I would HATE to see your student loan bills!

Good question . . . sort of . . .

There is no way around the costs of professional education, but a large misconception out there is that each degree will cost an arm and a leg. There are many quality and accredited online MBA programs, and if you're worth your weight, you should be able to get on to a research project and/or teaching assistantship to pay for most of your PhD (sure there are downfalls to that in terms of time and chairpeople who will try to keep you there as long as possible to grab you for free labor --- but the point is that it can be done with a minimum of cost). As for the DPT, mine will be less than 5,000 all told, minus the money that my employer will put up toward the degree as an employment benefit, and minus credit vouchers that I'll get for taking an entry-level student in my clinic (that's right, CI's are now being "paid" to take students).
