Hello, Try searching for the topic online at http://www.pubmed.com. There you can type topic words and see what the literature brings up. If typing treatments does not get you anywhere, you may have to look for other terms, such as protocols, rehabilitation, outcomes, etc.A very good place to start
Hi. After using pubmed for your online search, be sure to obtain the articles and look in the work cited page in each. From there you will be able to find more research studies pertinent to what you are looking for. You should be able to find a plethera on PF. Good luck.
Hello, I forgot to mention another way to look for information. Its called "Hooked On Evidence" and it can be found on the APTA website under the research link on the right hand side. An excellent resource to look at because other PT's have looked through them and provided information about the articles.
Buy the book Clinical Orthopedic Rehabilitation edited by Brotzman and Wilk. You will find this book to be vital to your career for treatment options if you plan on working in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Good luck.
p.s. you should be able to find a few copies on amazon.com
