hello, i just joined this site because I am interested in physical therapy and am thinking of taking it up as my major. The thing is it has been really hard for me to choose a major (i interested in a few things) so i was wondering if someone who is actually pursuing this major or study could tell me what they like and don't like about it and things like that. Like how you feel about it now you are studying it.
I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thanx.

Hello,
As a former student, I relished the fact that I would be more involved in patient care that lasted longer than a 20 minute checkup from a doctor. To play an important role in helping others regain lost function was my drive for PT. Maybe the only thing I didn't like was the limitations that insurance companies placed on patients on continuing treatment that they really needed. Other than those two main themes, I was fortunate to have an education of a lifetime that will continue as time goes by. Thats my experience. Hope it helped.
