I'm looking for some advice on schools as well. I'm been admitted to USC, Northwestern and Duke. I'm looking for advice on how I should be comparing the programs and what I should be looking for etc. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks so much!

USC has a really good collegiate band, and its a lot sunnier there, and you get to go to the beach.

Diana:
I have good things about all of those programs. USC has been the top ranked program (US news and world report) but I am not sure what the implication of that one is. It's always nice to go to a place with a significant active, post-professional graduate program with lot's of research going on. USC has one. So.....I think the question for you is 1. What are the financial considerations (if they are a factor for you)?
2. Where do you want to be for three years (southern cal seems like a good place from my vantage point).
3. Visit all if you can and see where you get the ol' gut feeling.
4. I was choosing between a couple of prominent schools. I went with my gut feeling and it was a good choice.
