I'd take a look at the research on the biomechanical model that many MET assessments are based on. Some of it is pretty questionable. No real outcome studies to back up its efficacy, either.
IMHO, I'd look at another school of thought. The evidence in motion courses (evidenceinmotion.com) are quite good, are taught by some of our professions top researchers and clinicians, and offer some of the most up to date research to back up their treatment approach.
