It appears that the webmaster decided that the personal attacks and consequent defense (by me) weren't relevant to the topic. I'm not consulted on such matters but can't say I disagree. The origin of these off topic tirades remains the same time after time.

Perhaps there's a lesson here.

I tend to agree with jon..and rather hope it continues that way. But I am not sure there's a lesson to be learned here; the history of the war is too long, probably, for lessons to be learned now..
