Does anyone have any exercises they can pass along to help me treat my vertigo patients successfully? Thank you.

What is the cause? BPPV may respond but other pathology needs to be dianosed and treated differently. For BPPV, I have had some success with the Brandt-Daroff positioning routine.

Any Vestibular course offered over a weekend should be able to dust off what we learned in school and help us remember how to treat it. O'Sullivan in her book has a great chapter to read on anatomy, physiology, diagnosis, and treatment.

I have been doing more and more and having great success with referrals from ENTs, neurologists, internal meds, FP, GP..etc.

I learned from a continuing ed. course that made me feel refreshed and able to treat.

body position changes help, brandt-daroff, sit to stands, supine to sitting, etc done with repitition helps. habituation helps, assuming the otoliths are positioned correctly.

FYI emergency departments are great referral sources as well. Do your research & offer to present inservice. Lots of patients /c dizziness & balance impairments.
