Dr. Ingrid Tscharnuter developed a therapeutic technique for neurological and orthopadic conditions based on the dynamical system and Gibson's ecological theory. These systems theories are not new but Dr. Tscharnuter's adaptation and subsequent development of her techniques were quite new, which departs from traditional neurofacilitation theories and techniques (e.g. PNF, NDT, Rood, Brunnstrooms, etc.). The hand placement in TAMO serves as vectors which allows for the re-organization of the limited movement repertoire in our patients. I've discussed her theories and found it very interesting, she has much respect for the central nervous system's wisdom--> for spontaneous re-organization thru gentle touch and handling.

Thank you Ingrid for sharing your insight...I'm planning to attend one of your workshop in the near future.
Thanks.
