i have been told that somewhere in the medicare manuals is a blurb about PT following stroke and how strength assessment and treatment is not reasonable and necessary as they deem the "weakness" to be a coordination issue and documentation should reflect this.........im looking for this and not having any luck......any suggestions

Usually I had 2 forms to assess abilities of the stroke by considering their functions. One for good prognosis (Fugl-Meyer),the other one for fair and poor prognosis (SSS).U can read it from these referrences.
