I want to know which laboratory results effect the rehabilitation of rheumatologic diseases. I mean what changes should we do in rehabilitation proggamme according to the laboratory results.
If somebody help me or advice some books or web pages,I will be very happy!

Dear Burcu:
Any good pathology book should be of assistance. And, you should be working with the doctor to determine what is appropriate since we don't really interpret the blood work.
In general, when working with patients with inflammatory joint disorders such as RA or AS we treat based on whether they are in remission or not. If they are in the inflammatory phase then we want to reduce the inflammation and avoid stressful movements/exercise. If they are in remission then you can work on the ROM and strength.
Certain lab indicators tell you whether the patient is "active," or not. The sedimentation rate is used as an indicator sometimes, but I am not sure of the value ranges.
You probably knew all of this already but your question was a little confusing.
Take care, Mcap
