Does anyone have references that compare the depth of penetration comparatively of ionto and phonophoresis?

Although I object to this "evidenced based" separate room I will add my thoughts:

I don't have a specific answer for your question. I will say however, that a recent article compared phone with regular ultrasound. There doesn't seem to be any difference.

so I would question whether an effective dose even makes it in with phono although I am not sure.
