Does anyone know of a good reference that would explain the different specializations in PT and what they do (ie/ortho, neurology, etc)? Thanks!

There is a paperback book called, Introduction to Physical Therapy, 3rd Edition, Mosby, 2006 by Michael A. Pagliarulo, ISBN: 0323032842 that might have some info for you. Otherwise, you may want to go to the APTA website and look for PT's who are specialized in those area (i.e, orthopedics (OCS), pediatrics (PCS), sports (SCS, neurologic (NCS), etc. Their contact info should be listed there and see if they are able to help you out directly.
