Just wondering if anyone knew the standard rates for ergonomic assessments? I'm looking at performing a 1 hour assessment of a workstation at a call center along with a typed report of my findings and recommendations. Hoping others here could give me a ball park figure as to what to charge.

I only have what I charged in the past for these: my hourly rate, travel costs and the time it takes to put together a report and a session (or more) if training of any kind is involved.

Hourly charge of CAN$125, (also charge for time of travel, reporting and consulting), per kilometer charge ($0.75 is reasonable), and thus you can estimate the overall cost.
If your travel is short, don't include the pennies....

It looks from your task that it should be at least $250.00.

Rob,

I dont know where you are located but I would agree with Bas. PABC recommended hourly rate in BC is $140 (We are more important than Ontario).
