Any advice in how to help a new mom survive daily work regime as an acute care therapist with limited access to US other than anti-inflammatories and ice/rest.  Wich exercises seem to work best.  Some deep tissue work has not had consistant results.  A basic thumb wrist brace from Walmart has been purchased to wear during work hours.   Thanks.

If you work in an acute care hospital, are there OT's in other departments? It would be nice to run this by them. In terms of massage, are you doing friction massages? How long have you been or have been told to wear the brace? It must be hard using that extremity in the acute care where you really need to use your arms and hands. Hope you get better.
