Our facility is looking at establishing clinical ladders? How many of you work at facilities with clinical ladders? How are they set up? Any information would be helpful. Thanks. Joe

A-frame or extension? Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Someone of intelligence will surely answer soon.

Hey Griz, Look into Massacheusetts General Hospital. We are currently adopting their clinical levels, Expert, Advanced Clinician, Clinician, Serf, Peon, etc. It is being met with varying levels of acceptance, as change always is. Steve Hill PT Madison WI

Different hospitals have different levels. Example: Level 1 PT, level 2 PT, senior PT, advanced clinician, master clinician where I work. Each level involves different duties/responsibilities, from taking on students, coverage, inservices given, projects done, amount of CE's taken, administrative functions, etc.
