I am applying to PT school and was wondering how much reputation,of the school, has to do with employablity? Also, with so many different curriculums, how do I know that the school I choose will provide me with a good understanding of PT?

As an administrator, I assume, right or wrong, core clinical skills of new graduates. I spend little effort comparing the schools when it comes to "quality" of the graduate. Granted some schools prepare better than others, but in the real world, and in particular where there is a shortage of PT's this is seldom a factor. The interview process, and the exposure of the applicant to clinical practices are two areas I look at closely. It is the training in the clinical setting and the APPLICATION of learned skill sets that often determines which new graduate I choose. Good Luck
